Probably the Toughest Event on the Planet...and I did it!

Yes I know this has been a long time coming...but no better post than my experience with the TOUGHEST OBSTACLE COURSE on the PLANET!! Got that right I completed a Tough Mudder...well...I did complete a Tough Mudder, but with the help of an amazing team from Farrell's. Without every single person on this team my day would not have been as successful and fulfilling than it turned out to be. All my gratitude goes towards this team:

I had a blast working closely with this team..and yes we were very close at times ;) A special thanks goes out towards the men who boosted us and pulled us through many of these obstacles (literally).

If you do not know what a Tough Mudder is, here is a video of the exact course we did in Wisconsin:

Looks fun right!? It was a blast! I would so do it again as well. I was worried about not being in shape enough for this event, but once you do it, it is pure adrenaline! I feel that if you are at least active running or lifting weights that you could complete one of these, but ONLY if you have a great team to back you up. If you don't then you better hit the gym 3 times a day every day of the week! Now to enjoy some pictures from TM!

We had to do a lot of running. There was about 12 miles of running throughout the course. I would say that if you can comfortably run a 5k then you can run this course. There is a lot of stopping and going; you may run 2 or 3 miles then do an obstacle.

Talk about team work here is one of several examples of team work!

After the mud mile. My FAVORITE obstacle. It was nice to get down and dirty.

Berlin Walls: We had many sets of these and this is where we really are thankful for the men with the muscles!

We had swimming! The water made it very cold afterwards. It isn't the midwest without hay bails to climb!
Where's Waldo?
Yet another picture of the great teamwork and the men being great sports! Walk the Plank!

Yup! Arctic Enema...See the ice truck in the back ground? This is where we jump into a dumpster full of 32 degree ice water! Ryan on the bottom right pretty much sums it up!

Mount Everest: Toughest challenge by far for me! Ugh
I feel for the guys who had to help me with this one. I was by far dead weight!

Electroshock: I am proud to say that I did not get shocked once. Although now I wish I would have so that I know what it feels like!

In the beginning we started with 43 peeps on our team. In the end we finished with 43 people on our team. Quite the accomplishment to start and finish as a team :) Thank you FXB friends for the great memories!
